Ahmed Abdel Magied has been working for almost 10 years in the Electricity distribution field. Ahmed holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique Montréal and ENSISA in France. Also, he holds a Business School Master's from KEDGE in Purchasing and Innovation Management. Ahmed has had several professional experiences as a Strategic Buyer of Industrial Supplies and Equipment. Since 2012, he was Senior Strategic Buyer, for EDF, responsible for a portfolio of 150 M€+ for the distribution networks equipment.

Since 2016, he was Business Development Manager in charge of the Middle East and North Africa with the objective to develop and promote EDF Group’s know-how in the field of electricity. He arrived in the UAE in 2019 to accelerate the development distribution as Business Manager in the Middle East for EDF International Networks.
