He leads the Power & Renewables Consulting team for the Middle East and Africa, leveraging his modelling and analytical expertise to spearhead consulting projects across various jurisdictions, aiding both government and private sector entities in strategic initiatives. Mr. Timponi frequently moderates discussions at both internal and external conferences, workshops, and webinars. Before his current role, he was stationed in London, Rio de Janeiro, and Sao Paulo, where he made significant contributions to S&P Global's Gas & Power consulting and Latin America research teams. Prior to his tenure at S&P Global, he was part of Petrobras, working in the international business development division. Mr. Timponi holds an MSc in Energy Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
