An accomplished business leader with over 15 years of experience in the cable industry, Charles Mellagui is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Ducab Cables Business since July 2022.

Known for transforming and restructuring businesses under challenging circumstances, he is a dynamic leader who believes in swift growth and sustainable development.

In his current role, Mellagui provides leadership and strategic direction, overseeing day-to-day operations, and managing finances and relationships with stakeholders. He plays a critical role in driving the growth, profitability, and success of the Ducab Cables Business while ensuring compliance with laws and ethical standards.

Mellagui joins Ducab from Nexans, France, where he has held various roles in Europe and the Middle East since 2007, rising to Vice President- Central Europe, Russia and France. At Nexans, he developed ‘Factories of the Future’, overhauling Nexans factories to international standards.

Mellagui has a solid track record and vast business networks in the cable industry, as well as deep insights into industry ecosystems in the Middle East, Europe, Russia and Africa.

He has an Engineering Degree from CentraleSupelec, France and SLOAN MBA from London Business School, UK.
