Dr. Afif Saif Al Yafei is the Chief Executive Officer of TAQA Transmission, a key company within the TAQA Group. He has held this role since 2020, overseeing the planning, construction, and operation of high voltage power and bulk water transmission networks in Abu Dhabi and beyond.

With over two decades of industry experience, Dr. Al Yafei is a seasoned executive who has held numerous leadership positions in the energy and utilities sectors. His comprehensive expertise encompasses asset management, operations and maintenance, technical services, project delivery, governance, and business development.

Dr. Al Yafei holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Abu Dhabi University, in addition to bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from UAE University.
