Eng. Nadya holds a master's degree in Public Administration and bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. She has been working in the Energy Sector in Emirate of Abu Dhabi for more than 22 years, she has participated heavily in setting up & shaping the regulatory framework of the Energy Sector in Emirate of Abu Dhabi and closely engaged with sector companies in the Emirate to oversee their compliance with potable water, recycled water and district cooling regulations.
She has contributed in setting out energy policy framework in which orchestrate a seamless & efficient energy transition and amplifying water & energy efficiency throughout the Emirate, she led development of number of remarkable policies revolve around drinking water, recycled water, district cooling and ensure such policies enables the development of a safe, effective and economic environment in line with the strategy of the Abu Dhabi Government and the UAE vision and in accordance with all legislations related to the energy sector and according to the best practices and policies globally, taking into consideration the economic, environmental, supply security. She oversees the management and technical codes of : potable water, recycled water, wastewater, and district cooling networks and ensure these codes are kept under continuous review and keep pace with latest technology advancement.
