Gus Schellekens has recently joined KPMG LG in Abu Dhabi as a Senior Advisor on sustainability and climate
change He has more than 30 years of work experience as an international Big Four Partner and management
consultant He led the Sustainability team for EY in MENA prior to that the Sustainability team for PwC in
MENA, was the COO for PwC’s global sustainability network, and has a background as an international tax and
management consultant with Deloitte Touche, and PwC in the UK and US.

Gus brings deep expertise across a range of sustainability topics, understanding both the issues and the
opportunities He specializes in strategy and systems thinking, and in the development and practical delivery of projects and results His multi sector consulting background has given him proven program management, IT project management, business transformation and change management skills, and the ability to easily switch from a macro to a micro view as necessary.
