Vijay Rengaraju is currently serving as Global Industry Business Manager for New Energies – Power Generation Business for ABB’s Energy Industries division globally. In this capacity he is a member of the Energy Industries global management team.

Vijay joined ABB in 2016 and has successfully held several roles before being promoted to one of the key members of ABB’s Energy Transition and Low Carbon team.

In this role, Vijay is responsible to globally lead the ABB New Energies Power Generation business team and delivering the strategic plan for various segments of Power Generation business including leading end-to-end management of business strategy along with Identifying and developing strategic partnerships and inorganic
growth opportunities for long-term growth.

Vijay joined ABB from Rockwell Automation GSM team, where he was Senior Industry Business Manager for heavy industries including power generation and water, responsible to lead the team in various countries. He has been involved and supported the Power Generation industry for over 16 years as a consultant, subject matter expert and strategist at various companies and levels in different countries.

Vijay holds a M.S in Industrial Technology Engineering from California State University and a B.E in Electronic & Instrumentation Engineering from Annamalai University.”

Vijay is based in Osaka, Japan.
