Shiv Bhakta is the Co-Founder and CEO of Active Surfaces, an MIT spinout reimagining solar deployment through lightweight, flexible materials. Prior to founding Active Surfaces, Shiv worked across DOE and ExxonMobil, leading billion-dollar energy programs and capital projects. He was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 in Energy and holds dual master’s degrees from MIT. Shiv is passionate about scaling technologies that decarbonize the built environment and increase access to clean energy.
