Yannig Gourmelon is a Partner at McKinsey & Company, based in the Paris office. He leads the European Water Practice, focusing on industrial and municipal water activities. Yannig brings deep expertise in the water, energy (electricity and natural gas), and materials sectors. He supports major utility companies worldwide, addressing their strategic, portfolio, growth, and innovation challenges, as well as sustainability initiatives.

In addition to his core expertise, Yannig advises on the development and management of large public and private infrastructure networks. His comprehensive approach ensures that clients receive tailored solutions to meet their complex needs.

Before joining McKinsey in 2019, Yannig was a Partner at Roland Berger in France and China, where he gained extensive international experience. He holds degrees from the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris, the London School of Economics, and HEC, which have equipped him with a robust foundation in both business and policy.
