Philippe Hutse graduated as Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Mechanics) from the University of
Ghent (Belgium) in 1989 and Master of Science in Industrial Management from the University of
Leuven (Belgium) in 1990. He started his career at Jan De Nul in 1991.
After having performed various functions abroad (EU, the Middle East, South-East Asia, etc.), he
returned to Head Office in 2004 to first take up the position of Area Manager Dredging Solutions
Eurasia and later Area Director Dredging Solutions Eurasia and North & South – East Asia.
In 2018, he was appointed as CEO Offshore Energy
